What inspired you to take up music?
I’ve always respected the following guys wit da big Ka-hunas: You know- Kiss, Van Halen, and of course, my TOTALLY cool ol’ man! The rest of you best refer to him as “Dad” or you may find yourselves taking a ride…. In a trunk …. Capiche?
How long have you been studying/playing music?
Mmm, OK……… We’re at 2006 here. Let’s back it up 27 years. You goombas do whatever math you need to do.
How long have you been performing live shows?
Normally, I inform people that: “If I tell ya, I’ll, have to kill ya.” …but, because I like you empty suits, here’s the deal …. I’ve
been at this public
performance deal since around 1988. (That’s 18 years for you people
who get off da short bus.) In other words, enough time to refine my chops, see?
What previous local bands have you played in?
My previous business associates include: Intrepid, Rivers Edge, The That, & Mad Hatter.
There may be more. But that’s IT ….. as far as you know.
Who are your musical influences?
I’m extremely partial to the following performers: Eddie Van Halen, Alex Lifeson, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Jeff Buckley and, again, no one kicks it like my own Dad! Ya know what? Don’t F#@K wit experience!
Who is your favorite band?
Coldplay has my total respect at the moment. Also, I can’t deny the coolness of Van Halen, Rush, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Hey, if you got a problem wit dat, I suggest we have a meeting behind the bar. 2:15. Let’s discuss!!! Shall we???
Who is your favorite entertainer?
I gotta go wit the Chairman: Frank Sinatra. But also, let’s not forget Robert DeNiro. Hey, they’re my kinda people!!!
What instruments do you play in…The Syndicate?
I perceive dat you’re not a cop, so I’m gonna give ya da inside story on all a ‘dis. I love to work the guitar over and I’m especially partial to the bass too. (Basically, whichever one needs a good sha-lackin’ at the time.) I also like to employ my vocal talents. -Hey, there’s times The Consigliere of The Family needs to speak out in support of his associates,…(if ya catch my drift!)
What instrument would you like to play?
I’m definitely inspired by ol’”88-keys”. (I’m talkin’ about the piano here.)
